Artist Proof
An artist proof is the printmaker's oldest tradition: a small allocation outside the numbered edition, marked "AP," kept by the artist. Historically it was the proof pulled to check the press. Today it is the rarest version of a work — scarcer than the edition itself, held back from the original release, and the version collectors chase precisely because so few exist.
The works in this collection are Lucho's personal allocation: artist proofs and 1/1 pieces released from the studio archive. Each is hand-signed and carries a certificate of authenticity timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain via Verisart, marking it unmistakably as an AP or unique work rather than a standard edition.
When an edition of 21 is already scarce, the proof is the endgame. When these go, they are gone.
