Ten Decrees. I'm redrawing ten Bosch and Bruegel masterpieces for the fiat age, one every two weeks. I announced the series on 15 August, fifty-five years to the day after Nixon closed the gold window. Five are out: Furia Fiat, Fiat Lucrum, Fiat Palea, Fiat Ludus, and Fiat Moria, which landed on 24 October. Fiat Fames is next. The tenth, Ultima Fiat, lands on 3 January 2027, the anniversary of the Genesis Block, which also happens to be my birthday. It's the biggest thing I've ever committed to and it's taking the rest of my year. The story of the whole series is in the Ten Decrees overview, and every piece released so far is on the Ten Decrees page.
Drawing slower than I used to. I built my name on posters that were fast, loud and made to be shared. These pieces go the other way. I spend weeks inside a single drawing where every figure carries an argument about money, and most days I don't miss the speed.
The Architecture of Collapse. A book I'm writing between drawings. Essays on how the money actually works, sitting next to the images, because I don't think either one lands on its own.
