Dr. Satoshi's Orange Pill: Cure What Ails You

Dr. Satoshi's Orange Pill: Cure What Ails You

Before "orange pill" became common crypto vernacular, I created Dr. Satoshi—a character born from the marriage of vintage pharmaceutical advertising and Bitcoin's promise of monetary liberation.

The series draws from the golden age of patent medicine ads, when snake oil salesmen promised miracle cures for every ailment. The irony isn't lost: while those old tonics were fraudulent, Bitcoin actually delivers on its promise. It's the real cure for what ails our monetary system.

The Four Designs

Cure What Ails You

Cure What Ails You — The flagship design. Dr. Satoshi, wearing the iconic mask, presents the orange pill as the remedy for fiat's chronic inflation.

Sound Money = Sound Mind

Sound Money = Sound Mind — A meditation on how broken money corrupts everything it touches. Fix the money, fix the mind.

Dr. Satoshi's Orange Pill

Dr. Satoshi's Orange Pill — The prescription is clear. One dose of Bitcoin, taken daily.

Are You Tired

Are You Tired... — This design became one of my first animated NFTs, minted on SuperRare in December 2019.

The Concept

The "orange pill" has become synonymous with Bitcoin enlightenment. Dr. Satoshi is the physician administering that dose of truth.

These designs were created during my early days operating under the HODLCRYPTO brand, printed as posters and distributed at Bitcoin meetups and conferences.

"The orange pill isn't something you take once. It's a daily practice—a commitment to seeing clearly in a world designed to keep you confused about money."

The prescription is still open: Dr. Satoshi lives on in the Bitcoin propaganda posters and the merch collection. Take your orange pill.
